DROP CERTIFICATION as an incentive based regulation process
whereby municipalities are evaluated according to stringent criteria set.
The Blue Drop Assessment was on
held in February 2011 in Cape Town. The Blue Drop Assessment is based on the
following criteria:

Operation and Maintenance
·
Operation and Compliance
·
Number of key analyses per population
·
Proof that analyses results are used effectively
