The telephone number of Swellendam Municipality has been changed from 028-5141100 to 028-5148500.
The same number applies for the offices of: Buffeljagsrivier, Suurbraak and Barrydale.
INSTITUTION OF WATER RESTRICTIONS
Due to the current climate conditions the Swellendam Municipality is compelled to institutewater restrictions for Swellendam. With the envisaged Level 1 restrictions only certain water usage is restricted and the public is requested to effect a 10% saving in water usage. Should the envisaged saving not be realized and sufficient rain does not fall soon, the envisaged Level 2 water restrictions will be instituted.
